About Sarah
Sarah Pemberton Kastrup is a teacher, a writer, and the founder of Write Now!. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. Sarah taught as a classroom teacher for Portland Public School District for 13 years and teaches ESL at Portland State University for International Special Programs. She is a certified NLP coach/practitioner (nlppacific.com) and an Amherst Writers and Artists writing group leader (amherstwriters.com). In 2012, Sarah began Write Now!, which offers after-school writer’s workshops, summer camps, and tutoring to students in Portland, OR. One of her passions is to watch kids fall in love with writing as they find their voice and discover the endless creative possibilities writing opens to them.
