We will practice skills such as:
·      make predictions
·      talk about interesting and/or unfamiliar words
·      wonder together why the characters do what they do
·      clarify what is happening
·      make pictures in our minds
·      notice literary devices students might not notice on their own (ie. foreshadowing, metaphor, tension, mood, etc.)

Listening to a story being read aloud is valuable at every age.
